SSI diving in Singapore, Malaysia & Brunei
SCUBA.COM.SG is a directory for SSI (Scuba Schools International) diving. Here is what SSI is, what it teaches, and how to choose an SSI training centre.
What is SSI?
SSI has trained divers for over 50 years and today works through a worldwide network of more than 4,000 SSI training centres and resorts. All SSI training is delivered by SSI professionals at affiliated centres, so the centre you choose is your partner from your first lesson onwards.
SSI is part of HEAD Watersports, the group behind diving brands such as Mares and Aqualung.
Learning with the free MySSI app
Registering with SSI is free and gives you instant access to SSI’s free trial programmes. The MySSI app then keeps everything together: digital learning materials, your digital certification cards and your logbook, available online or offline. You study the theory at your own pace before your pool sessions, and your new certification appears in the app as soon as your instructor issues it.
How to choose an SSI centre
Compare what each package includes, class sizes, where pool and open-water training happen, and upcoming course dates. Every centre listed here is checked before it is published, and each listing shows the SSI programmes the centre has confirmed.
