Pulau Tenggol or Tenggol Island is an island off the coast of Terengganu, Malaysia. Bring the last the string of islands which includes Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Redang, Tenggol island was traditionally uninhabited. (And is now still less touristy and snorkelers filled comparing to Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Redang.

Lying 14 nautica miles off the coast Kuala Dungun, a quiet fishing town is Pualu Tenggol, Terenganu Malaysia. With an area of 50 hec. in size, 3 km in length and 2 km in width, Tenggol, this rocky island is ranked one of the most beautiful and serene island off the Peninsular Malaysia’s east coast. More than 25 dive sites are offered here along the these spectacular rocky cliffs.

This virgin island is known for its non-commercialized state where the white sandy beaches are backed by the steep forested cliffs. It is a definite pleasure for those who yearns for a retreat away from the buzzling city. At Pulau Tenggol, divers will find themselves immense in the pristine c0ral formations with a number of submerged rocks with big patches of healthy coral. Offering you good visbility with teeming of marine life and a wide variety of hard and soft corals, what else would you ask for!
